Carefeel cotton Industries (M) Sdn Bhd commenced operation in 1993. It was one of the pioneers in cotton manufacturing in Malaysia. Since then, it has grown by leaps and bounds to become the leading OEM Suppliers and Contract manufacturers in Malaysia
Strategically located in the Rawang Industrial Estate, with easy access to an efficient network of highways, airports and railroads as well as Port Klang, it facilitates prompt shipment and delivery. This is vital as more than 40% of its annual revenue is from export sales.
Carefeel Cotton is the pioneer company in Malaysia with the capability to produce cotton jumbo rolls. Cotton jumbo rolls are semi-finished goods used for further processing into other cotton-based products. With 2 production lines capable of producing 750 tonnes of cotton jumbo rolls, the Company is the biggest producer of jumbo rolls in Malaysia.
It uses proven Japanese technology in delivering quality outputs and maintaining low downtime. Wang-Zheng Berhad is also the only party in Malaysia with the technology to reprocess leftover cotton from facial cotton manufacturing into cotton sliver which is to be transformed into cotton buds, cotton wool rolls and cotton balls. All machines are maintained by a local team of technicians to ensure maximum efficiency and high quality. The Company will continue to invest in technological upgrades and improving the skills of its workforce.
The jumbo rolls are used internally and exported. Carefeel Cotton itself uses the jumbo rolls to produce facial cotton (cotton pads). Wang-Zheng Berhad, in fact, has the lion’s share of the local cotton products market with more than 55% market share.
For domestic demand, Carefeel Cotton supplies its cotton products to Wang-Zheng Corporation Sdn Bhd, a fellow company under the Wang-Zheng Berhad. Carefeel Cotton’s products can now be obtained from all the major hypermarkets, supermarkets, departmental stores, pharmaceuticals and medical halls.
Carefeel Cotton manufactures its products under it’s own brands and under OEM brands. It’s own brands includes the well-established Carina brand, Carefeel and Cosmex. Among its OEM customers include leading international pharmacy chains and personal care stores.
All these brands are not only marketed locally but also being sold in over 15 countries, including China, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Philippines, Australia and Brunei. Aside from the Asian region, Carefeel Cotton’s products are also on display in outlets in the Middle East, Romania, Maldives and other countries.
